Official World Cup posters were introduced in 1930. First World Cup poster measured 78,5 cm x 38 cm.

The first to get an official mascot was the World Cup in England in 1966. From then on every World Cup championship has had its own mascot.

First official World Cup ball was introduced in 1950. It was a Brazilian "Superball".
